• Ibrahim Raisi has been elected as the new President of Iran.

• World Elder Abuse Awareness Day was observed on 15 June, this day was recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in the year 2021, the theme of this year is ‘Access to Justice’.
• विश्व बुजुर्ग दुर्व्यवहार जागरूकता दिवस 15 जून को मनाया गया , संयुक्त राष्ट्र महासभा द्वारा वर्ष 2021 में इस दिन को मान्यता दी गई, इस वर्ष का विषय एक्सेस टू जस्टिस रखा गया है ।

• World Crocodile Day is celebrated on 17th June, under which work is done to highlight the situation of endangered crocodiles in the world and to spread awareness about it.
• विश्व मगरमच्छ दिवस 17 जून को मनाया जाता है , इसके अंतर्गत दुनिया में संकटग्रस्त मगरमच्छों की स्थिति को उजागर करने तथा इसके प्रति जागरूकता फैलाने करने का काम किया जाता है ।

• World Music Day was celebrated on 21 June, it was started in France in 1982.

• WHO Yoga App launched by WHO and Ministry of AYUSH on 7th International Day of Yoga, App launched by Prime Minister on the occasion of Yoga Day on 21st June.
• डब्ल्यूएचओ तथा आयुष मंत्रालय द्वारा सातवें अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस पर डब्ल्यूएचओ योगा ऐप लॉन्च किया गया , 21 जून योग दिवस के अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री द्वारा यह ऐप लॉन्च किया गया।

• The world’s first wooden satellite will be launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) by the end of 2021, it will be launched from New Zealand.
• यूरोपीय अंतरिक्ष एजेंसी (ईएसए) द्वारा 2021 के अंत तक विश्व का पहला लकड़ी का उपग्रह लांच किया जाएगा इसे न्यूजीलैंड से लांच किया जाएगा ।

• Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi on June 22 announced to name the Noida shooting range after Chandro Tomar, a village shooter from Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, who won several national championships in shooting.
• मुख्यमंत्री आदित्यनाथ योगी ने 22 जून को नोएडा शूटिंग रेंज का नाम चंद्रो तोमर के नाम पर रखने का ऐलान किया, चंद्रो तोमर बागपत उत्तर प्रदेश के एक गांव की रहने वाली निशानेबाज़ थी, तथा उन्होंने निशानेबाजी में कई राष्ट्रीय चैंपियनशिप जीती ।

• India ranks 51st in terms of depositing money in Swiss banks, according to the data released in the year 2019, India is at 77th, Britain is at the first place in the list of deposits in Swiss banks.
• स्विस बैंकों में धन जमा कराने के मामले में भारत 51वे स्थान पर है वर्ष 2019 में जारी आंकड़ों के अनुसार भारत 77वें स्थान पर है, स्विस बैंकों में जमा राशि की लिस्ट में ब्रिटेन पहले स्थान पर है ।

• Lawrence Hubbard is the first transgender athlete to participate in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

• Indian female cricketer Shefali Verma has scored a century in both the innings of her debut match, she has become the first female cricketer to do so, her record also equals the record of Sachin Tendulkar.
• भारतीय महिला क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी शेफाली वर्मा ने अपने डेब्यू मैच की दोनों पारियों में शतक लगाया है ऐसा करने वाली वह पहली महिला क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी बन गए हैं उनका यह रिकॉर्ड सचिन तेंदुलकर के रिकॉर्ड की बराबरी भी करता है ।

• BCCI has announced a grant of ₹ 10,000,000 to Indian players to prepare for the Olympic Games. Tokyo Olympics are starting from July 23. This amount will be used for the preparation of Indian players who qualify in this competition.
• बीसीसीआई ने भारतीय खिलाड़ियों को ओलंपिक गेम्स की तैयारी के लिए ₹100000000 की मदद देने की घोषणा की है टोक्यो ओलंपिक 23 जुलाई से शुरू हो रहे हैं इस धनराशि का उपयोग इस प्रतियोगिता में क्वालीफाई करने वाले भारतीय खिलाड़ियों की तैयारियों के लिए प्रयोग किया जाएगा ।

• Indian telecom company Reliance has announced to launch the cheapest smartphone and 5G service in collaboration with Google, Google’s cloud service will be used by Google for 5G service.
• भारतीय टेलीकॉम कंपनी रिलायंस ने गूगल के साथ मिलकर सबसे सस्ता स्मार्टफोन और 5जी सर्विस लॉन्च करने की घोषणा की है गूगल द्वारा 5G सर्विस के लिए गूगल के क्लाउड सर्विस काइस्तेमाल किया जाएगा ।

• Karnam Malleswari, popularly known as ‘The Iron Lady’, became the first Vice Chancellor of Delhi Sports University, the first Indian woman to win a medal in weightlifting at the Olympics.
• ‘द आयरन लेडी’ के नाम से मशहूर कर्णम मल्लेश्वरी दिल्ली खेल विश्वविद्यालय की पहली कुलपति बनाई गई , वे ओलंपिक में वेटलिफ्टिंग प्रतिस्पर्धा में मेडल जीतने वाली पहली भारतीय महिला है ।

• Manpreet Singh has been made the captain of the Indian men’s team for the Tokyo Olympics, under his captaincy the Indian hockey team won the Asia Cup in 2017, the Asian Champions Trophy in 2018 and the FIH series final in 2019 and Rani Rampal for the Tokyo Olympics Appointed captain of Indian women’s hockey team.
• टोक्यो ओलंपिक के लिए भारतीय पुरुष टीम का कप्तान मनप्रीत सिंह को बनाया गया है, उनकी कप्तानी में भारतीय हॉकी टीम ने 2017 में एशिया कप, 2018 में एशियाई चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी और 2019 में एफआईएच सीरीज का फाइनल जीता था तथा रानी रामपाल को टोक्यो ओलंपिक के लिए भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम का कप्तान बनाया गया है ।

• International Olympic Day was celebrated on 23 June, International Olympic Committee was established on 23 June 1894, Olympic Day was celebrated for the first time on 23 June 1948, the theme of the year 2021: “Stay Healthy Stay Strong Olympic Day Active with Workout stay” .
• 23 जून को अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक दिवस मनाया गया , 23 जून 1894 में अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओलंपिक समिति की स्थापना की गई थी, पहली बार 23 जून 1948 को ओलंपिक दिवस मनाया गया था, वर्ष 2021 की थीम : “स्वस्थ रहें मजबूत रहें ओलंपिक दिवस वर्कआउट के साथ एक्टिव रहें” रखी गई है
